Josef Bader in Aaron Zigman and Mark Campbell's epic oratorio Émigré. A story following two Jewish brothers who journey East, fleeing Germany during WWII and entering Shanghai, China as refugees. One performance in Berlin, Germany with the Duetsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. Additional dates in China TBA.
2023-24 Season
Pasta & Puccini
Guest soloist with Opera Las Vegas for an evening of Puccini. This mini-gala, will feature Chef Gio Mauro's celebrated libations and fine food, along with a program of popular opera selections curated by Maestro Joshua Horsch from some of the top titles on the "Opera Hit Parade:" Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Tosca, and of course, La bohème.

World premiere performance and recording with Deutsche Grammaphon are in Shanghai, China on November 17th, 19th, and 20th. Additional dates in China TBA.
The Last Days
Mormon/Housemate in Oliver Leith and Matt Copson's new opera with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Based on the film Last Days written and directed by Gus Van Sant and produced by HBO Films, this new opera plunges into the torment that created a modern myth. Performance at the Walt Disney Concert hall on February 6th conducted by Thomas Adès.
Émigré (US Premiere) with NY Philharmonic
Josef Bader in Aaron Zigman and Mark Campbell's epic oratorio Émigré. A story following two Jewish brothers who journey East, fleeing Germany during WWII and entering Shanghai, China as refugees. US premiere performances with the NY Philharmonic in Lincoln Center Feb 29th- March 1st.

Prima Voce Emerging Artist Recital
Arnold’s mother was a successful opera singer who received her master’s in Psychology just before her untimely death due to breast cancer on September 11th, 2002. His personal tragedy inspired this autobiographical program of how music, faith, and singing have literally saved his life. An emotionally powerful and heartfelt story of loss, healing and forgiveness features the music of Robert Schumann, Richard Strauss, Mozart, and a world premiere by composer and fellow PVEA singer Joel Balzun. Featuring Grant Gershon on piano.
OPERA Laguna in Concert
Discover the Power of the Voice in the intimate setting of the Sanctuary of Neighborhood Congregational Church when soprano Oriana Falla, and tenor Arnold Livingston Geis, take you on a musical journey with bel canto as the guide. Featuring works by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Britten, and Schumann.

Traveler's Prayer
Arnold Geis sings Tenor I soloist in Steve Reich's Traveler's Prayer with the Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music Group at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. This all-Reich concert culminates with a remarkable collaboration between composer Steve Reich and artist Gerhard Richter. Richter will provide a computer-generated film of his painting 946-3. The result: a stream of images interpreted by music and a musical composition visualized by film images.
A Little Night Music
Mr. Erlanson in A Little Night Music with the Pasadena Playhouse. Recipient of three Tony Awards including Best Musical, A Little Night Music is a sumptuous, sexy, laugh-out-loud masterpiece that will leave you thoroughly enchanted. Performances begin April 25th through May 21st, 2023.
Sweeney Todd
Pirelli in Sweeney Todd with Chautauqua Opera. A dark tale riddled with ghoulish humor set in Victorian London, Sweeney Todd returns from exile to seek revenge on the lecherous Judge Turpin, who destroyed what was once a happy life. When Sweeney reunites with the devious Mrs. Lovett, the owner of a failing meat pie shop, they hatch a plan that will help her with her business struggles and satisfy his hunger for revenge. Performances are June 30, July 7, 12, & 21 in Norton Memorial Hall.
